The Fragmalyzer Professional, for professional OS X software developers, is a collection of tools for examining compiled code in its many different forms:
- CFM (PEF) applications, libraries, and resources
- Mach-O applications, dynamic libraries, and frameworks
- Mach-O static "ranlib" libraries (.a)
- Mach-O object files (.o), as produced by gcc and other compilers
- Mach-O command-line executables and daemons
- Mach-O code in running processes (including processes with no user interface)
- CFM (PEF) code in running processes, including applications running in “Classic” mode
The Fragmalyzer Professional includes tools to...
- examine (and optionally save) the imported or exported symbols
- view the contents of any section in a hexadecimal/ASCII browser
- locate imported libraries on disk
- weaken (or strengthen) imports (this feature is available only for CFM/PEF code fragments)
- examine code sections with a powerful code browser
The Fragmalyzer Professional is not currently scheduled for release. Check back here for further details.
